"I lost what I loved, and I loved what I lost, but I'm grateful I had it to lose"
Wow - those lyrics are just sensational!
Once again, your singing and the piano accompaniment bring forth a real intimate atmosphere. Very welcoming. Your music is like a warm fire inside after walking home through the snow.
Most impressive.

Wow, what a wonderful compliment!! Thank you! I love those lyrics too! My grandfather, Ernest G. Schweikert, wrote the musical composition and his co-writer, Frank Reardon, wrote the lyrics! What a pair they made!!! Unbelievable!!!

Y'all never cease to impress. The intro is right ON. Gotta hand it to you on maintaining discipline in your performance; contemporary styles would have you embellishing this piece all over the place, but you keep it sweet and simple. I think that's why all of your performances are so nostalgic...they're true to original spirit (not to mention actual notes) of the music. Thanks for bringing such wonderful work to the community.
